Jonathan founded Ex Parte in 2017. He is the former president & chief legal officer of MicroStrategy (Nasdaq: MSTR), the largest independent publicly-traded analytics and business intelligence company. Before MicroStrategy, he served as an appellate litigator with the United States Department of Justice, and a law clerk for the Hon. Jerome Farris of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Jonathan holds a B.A. in Economics from Amherst College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Roman is the Chief Technology Officer of Ex Parte, and brings 15+ years of engineering and product management experience. Previously, he was managing architect for EastBanc Technologies, where he led big data projects for clients such as Microsoft, Sands Capital, and the federal government. Before EastBanc, Roman served as product manager for Fortress Solutions and a senior software developer for Sitronics. Roman earned a Master of Science degree from Novosibirsk State Technical University. In his free time, Roman enjoys to ski and kite surf with his wife and daughters.
